A device for the centered clamping, in a turning machine, of an annular workpiece or workpiece stack formed of a plurality of annular workpieces, has a centering cylinder; an arrangement for axially displacing the centering cylinder; first and second axially aligned clamping rings for engaging opposite, radially extending end faces of a workpiece or workpiece stack positioned in a space between the clamping rings; and a clamping arrangement for axially urging the two clamping rings to one another. The clamping arrangement includes a tensioning anchor extending within the work spindle of the turning machine. The device further has a releasable coupling for detachably connecting the tensioning anchor to the work spindle. The first clamping ring is secured to the tensioning anchor and the second clamping ring is fixedly attached to the work spindle.

A device for centering and clamping a package of piston rings on the outer surface is known, comprising an actuator, a centering sleeve, a female package outside, and two clamping discs, one of which is axially displaced by means of the thrust and the other is fixed XlX.
A disadvantage of this device is the low productivity, since for changing the package of piston rings it is necessary to manually remove one clamping disk.
The aim of the invention is to improve processing performance.
The goal is achieved by the fact that the drive is made in the form of coaxially mounted pneumohydraulic cylinders, and the tractor is made of two parts, one ends of which are interconnected by means of a cam clutch, and others - with pistons of cylinders.
The drawing shows the proposed device.
In the headstock 1 of a conventional lathe, a hollow working spindle 2 rotates. Inside the working spindle 2 there is a ha 3, the outer end of the PISTON RINGS
which (left side) is connected to the working spindle 2 through the clamping cylinder 4 assembly. The spindle 2 has a head 5, the second end of which is provided with a flange 6 and a clamping disk 7.
In the tailstock 8 of the machine, a cylinder-piston assembly is fixed, consisting of an outer cylinder 9 with a piston 10 and an internal cylinder 11 with a piston 12,
Herewith, the inner cylinder 11 serves as the piston rod 10. At the free end of the rod 13 of the piston 12 there is inserted a pull-in gear 14 and another clamping disk 15, and the indicated end of the rod 13 is held by the bearing 16. The end 17 of the pull-in cow 14 is designed in such a way that can be caught by the cams 18 of the coupling 19 tons of gi 3 located in the area of the head 5 of the spins 20 cases. At the free end of the cylinder 11, a flange 20 is fixed, carrying the centering sleeve 21. The machine support, carrying the turning tool in the drawing is not shown.
The package fed along the E-ring rings 22, which are made up of separate, split and non-circular piston rings, are first known to the machining position;
force is pressed by the clamping disk 15, driven by the cylinder-piston 9, 19 unit to the clamping disk 7, due to which it is held in the machining position and the gripping device can be removed from this position. After that, the cylinder-piston 9 10 unit is actuated, which, with more active piston area and constant high pressure of the hydraulic fluid, creates a large axial force, which ensures that the centering of the sleeve 21 is placed on the package 22 of the piston rings, and the relative movement of the cylinder 11 it ensures that the piston is pushed into the piston 13. The bevel 23 on the centering sleeve 21 ensures that the piston rings are compressed in the radial direction until they reach the nominal diameter, and the inner surface 24 of the sleeve 21 centers the piston rings or the package 22 of these rings. Then, the action of the clamping cylinder 4 is shown, advancing the pull in the direction indicated by the arrow. In this case, the cams 18 of the coupling 19 captures the end 17 of the extendable core, which results in clamping the package of 22 piston rings in the axial direction and with a large force between the clamping discs 7 and 15. After the centering sleeve 21 returns to its original position (right drawing), it is possible to process the outer surface of piston rings, for example grooving, plying or the like the tool is stationary and the bag with piston rings rotates.
